Trapped in a Painting

This was my mid-term project for my Photoshop class. The assignment was simple, each of us had to pick any paintings we liked, took picture of ourselves, and then put our picture in the painting using Photoshop and made it look as if we’re a part of the painting. I chose “The Scream” by Edvard Munch painting for this project.
Here are the final result, the original painting, and my original picture:

I did this project in May 2008.
Just so you know, The Scream is by Edvard Munch, not Van Gogh.

What a fantastic idea. This picture has me thinking. I have an computer extension class of 11 year olds and would be very interested in finding out how you inserted your picture into the painting. I am going to try that in my class. We don’t have photoshop and use macs in our class. Are you able to help????
