I designed this flyer as a promotional material for Attachment Association of Canada. The purpose of this flyer is to announce the upcoming workshops of Daniel Hughes in Toronto on December 7-10, 2010.
Dr. Daniel Hughes is widely known as a leading world expert in the field of Attachment Disorder. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio University, with a clinical internship at the University of Rochester Medical School. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), and the Association for Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children (ATTACh).
I designed this flyer as a promotional material for Attachment Association of Canada. This flyer has information on what Attachment Disorder is, a brief summary of the Attachment Association of Canada organization, website URL of the organization, what is offered on the website, and how to reach the organization.
The flyer is designed and started being handed out in October 2009.

As a final assignment for one of my Print classes, each of us had to design 12-page book of any topics we wanted. I’m a huge fan of Christina Aguilera, and I decided to make a book about her. I wanted to push myself a bit further, so instead of doing a 12-page book, I asked permission from my professor to do a 20-page book.
I started compiling materials and wrote down what I wanted to put in the book. I wanted everything to be organized, so it took me a while to prepare everything and do research before I started designing the actual book. Later on, I was thinking, if I’m going to spend lots of time and efforts on this book, I might as well sending the book to Shelly (Christina Aguilera’s mother). It’s going to be great to have her take a look at my book, and if I’m lucky, she might show the book to Christina!

As the final assignment in Photography course, I had to go to Kensington Market, which is located just to the west of downtown Toronto, bordered by Spadina Avenue, Dundas Street, Bathurst Street and College Street, and take tons of pictures there. I went in a group early in the morning when the stores were still closed, and it was cloudy. I had to set our camera to cloudy setting, and if needed, touch up (aka do color corrections) the photographs later.
The assignment was to choose the best 12 photographs to be submitted, and also create a photo album using the 12 photos we chose plus making our own caption. I found it hard to choose only 12 photos. I liked many photographs that I took. I did chose and submitted 12 photos, but for the book, I decided to use 21 photos.
Here’s my Kensington Market Photo Book:

I designed Goo-Ers Toys booklet so people can get to know more about my toy characters as well as the process of making them. I designed and created everything in the booklet myself. From sketches, tracing, coloring, layout, background, everything…

For this assignment, the professor asked us to create a 6-page brochure for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche Toronto. Each of us had to create a new feel of the event in the brochure. All we were given were that instruction, as for images, text, and what we wanted to put in the brochure, we had to go to the website and decided ourselves on what we were going to put in our design.
Here’s the brochure I designed (click thumbnails to enlarge):
This is one of my early assignments for my Print class. I took all images and text online, and then put them together as a magazine spread.
I designed this Wii Celebrity Sports cover as a part of my Audio class assignment in March 2008. The assignment was to make a short audio of any original games that we could think of, and then we should handed in the project in a DVD case along with a cover.
I was a fan of Wii Sports at the time, so I was inspired to make a game based on that. I wrote the storyline for the game, but I can’t find either the storyline or the audio in my PC now, so I’ll just write it down based on how I remember it.
Narrator: Welcome to Celebrity Sports game. Please choose your player. Paris Hilton. Paris Hilton: That’s hot! Narrator: Britney Spears. Britney Spears: It’s Britney bitch! Narrator: Austin Power. Austin Power: Yeah baby *giggles* behave! Narrator: Borat. Borat: *some stuff Borat said that I don’t remember anymore* Narrator: You have chosen Paris. Please choose your sport. *beep* Tennis *beep* Volleyball *beep* Golf *beep* Tennis *ding*. You have chosen tennis. Please choose your outfit. *beep beep beep ding* Congratulations, you have chosen a boa and a thong. Let the game begins. *some outer space sounds*Those celebrity voices were their real voice, which we took from clips of their voice. We couldn’t find Paris’ voice though, so one person in my team imitated Paris’ voice, and I must admit her imitation was really good.
There were three people in my team, my contribution to the group was writing the script and designed the cover. The other two people took care the recording and audio editing process.
Here are the images that I put up together to create the cover:
