Orphan’s Hope Kids to Canada was co-founded in 2002 and it is the first Canadian charity dedicated to helping finance parents who adopt orphans from outside of North America. Disturbed by the incomprehensible number of needy orphans around the world coupled with the often substantial costs of international adoption, the founders set out to make a difference.
Since then, the Board has expanded to include several other members, many of whom are adoptive parents themselves. The dream of Orphan’s Hope Kids to Canada is to ‘bring orphaned children and adoptive parents together’ in the greatest possible numbers.

I designed this flyer as a promotional material for Attachment Association of Canada. The purpose of this flyer is to announce the upcoming workshops of Daniel Hughes in Toronto on December 7-10, 2010.
Dr. Daniel Hughes is widely known as a leading world expert in the field of Attachment Disorder. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio University, with a clinical internship at the University of Rochester Medical School. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), and the Association for Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children (ATTACh).
I designed this flyer as a promotional material for Attachment Association of Canada. This flyer has information on what Attachment Disorder is, a brief summary of the Attachment Association of Canada organization, website URL of the organization, what is offered on the website, and how to reach the organization.
The flyer is designed and started being handed out in October 2009.

As a final assignment for one of my Print classes, each of us had to design 12-page book of any topics we wanted. I’m a huge fan of Christina Aguilera, and I decided to make a book about her. I wanted to push myself a bit further, so instead of doing a 12-page book, I asked permission from my professor to do a 20-page book.
I started compiling materials and wrote down what I wanted to put in the book. I wanted everything to be organized, so it took me a while to prepare everything and do research before I started designing the actual book. Later on, I was thinking, if I’m going to spend lots of time and efforts on this book, I might as well sending the book to Shelly (Christina Aguilera’s mother). It’s going to be great to have her take a look at my book, and if I’m lucky, she might show the book to Christina!
Here is the book I designed (click thumbnails to enlarge):
This was my mid-term project for my Photoshop class. The assignment was simple, each of us had to pick any paintings we liked, took picture of ourselves, and then put our picture in the painting using Photoshop and made it look as if we’re a part of the painting. I chose “The Scream” by Edvard Munch painting for this project.
Here are the final result, the original painting, and my original picture:

I did this project in May 2008.
I drew this line art/vector of myself in August 2008 for my Photoshop class.
I designed these AMC Theatre Warning/Caution signs for my Typography course in my 2nd semester at Seneca College’s Digital Media Arts. We could choose whether we wanted to trace some logos or create some signs. I already traced a logo in my 1st semester, I knew I could do that. Designing and creating original signs would be a different story. I love challenging myself and push myself as far as I can just to see whether I can do something or not. So I decided to make some signs for my project.
I like watching movies, and usually go to theatre about once a month. One theatre that was in my mind at the time was AMC Theatre. So I browsed to the website to find out more about the company and started sketching my signs right away. I came up with about 10 sign sketches. My professor liked my concept and told me to choose and make only maximum 4 signs, that way I had more time for each sign and make them good.
So here are the 4 signs I designed, 2 warning signs and 2 caution signs:
